Our name, Kipepeo, meaning butterfly in Swahili, was inspired by the many beautiful butterflies that call our beach home. As you stroll through the gardens and sandy paths, you might spot the two families of playful mongooses living nearby or hear the magical nighttime call of the elusive bushbaby.
Beyond our village lies a stunning landscape of salt pans and mangrove forests, providing sanctuary to a wide range of bird species and small wildlife. Bird lovers will be thrilled — a bird list featuring species spotted by amateur bird watchers is available at our reception.
