Our elevated chalets are situated on the south beach of Dar es Salaam, Kigamboni. To meet the high demand for quality accommodation at an affordable price 20 comfortable elevated garden chalets were made. The task involved building without upsetting the laid-back, remote atmosphere that made the place so popular amongst locals and foreigners alike.

All 20 chalets with ocean facing balconies were built in the dense indigenous bush and elevated in order to take advantage of the cool ocean breezes. Being set back from the beach makes you feel secluded and the surrounding bush is filled with nature including a family of mongoose and many birds which make it a great experience waking up in the morning – the air filled with singing birds!

Please note some of these rooms can be used as a family room when traveling with children – please get in touch
